INVESTIGATING INHIBITING FACTORS AFFECTING MOOCS ADOPTION AMONG TEACHERS IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS OF INDIA

Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) has the potential to eradicate digital divide and endorse education globally among learners in industry. Through MOOCs platforms, teachers can upgrade their knowledge skills abilities respective fields. The present study aims identify inhibiting factors underlying adoption of by employed higher institutions. research an Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis qualitative methodology. In this research, from identified Universities Uttarakhand, India are selected as respondent investigate affecting MOOCs. Findings reveal that technological barriers, financial lack awareness act adopting HEI. This also contributes literature assessing influencing teachers’ intention adopt for learning. paper, three stakeholders MOOCs, is teachers, HEI MOOC provider suggested measures will enhance support acceptability online courses.
